Francesco’s Foundation Launched to help Prevent Teenage Suicide

Francesco’s Foundation has been created to help prevent teenage suicide through providing financial support for education in schools, where the focus will be on prevention of all types of bullying including and in particular that of the LGBTQIA+ community, education about the risks of teenagers engaging in dangerous activities on-line, education about the risks of leaving fire-arms unsecured with teenagers in the house – all of which contribute to heightening risks of teenage suicide.

3 PILLARS OF FRANCESCO’S FOUNDATION
The Francesco Foundation will aim to take on three pillars of reform and education with the intersectionality of mental health tying into each pillar. We hope to battle ignorance, prejudice, and fear will be at the forefront of the foundation’s activities.
GUN SAFETY & LEGISLATION
Gun logic. Let’s go beyond typical pull quotes and statistics. We should have logical discussions and legislation behind gun safety.
EDUCATING PARENTS & TEACHERS ON LGBTQ+ BULLYING
Sad to think that we are living in 2023 and still having to deal with bullying. Both online and in person. We need to help not only the bullied but also the bully.
TECHNOLOGY REFORM & EDUCATION
You don’t know what you don’t know. Educating parents and teachers on the dangers of what is online and how we can educate ourselves and our young adults on how to interact with this space.
